Interuniversity research seminar on CONSTRUCTION HISTORY in Belgium

January 7, 2021

On Thursday January 7th, an interuniversity research seminar on construction history in Belgium is organised. Following fruitful gatherings in Brussels and Antwerp over the past few years, the seminar sets out to be a place where research results in the field of Construction History can be discussed, ideas can be shared and new collaborations can emerge. Keeping track of each other and of each other’s research has in fact now become more important than ever.
The full day of presentations is composed of a mid-term Ph.D. presentation (45 min.), several short pitch presentations for starting projects (5 min.) and a selection of more elaborate presentations of advanced research (15 min.). External reviewers prof. Silke Langenberg (ETH Zurich), prof. Bernard Espion (ULB) and prof. Johan Lagae (UGent) are invited to comment on each session. The day closes with a round table. You can download the Book of Abstracts, including the preliminary programme, here

The seminar will be held online (MSTeams). Click here to participate in the seminar. Access is free, yet please confirm your presence by email here, preferably before December 16 2020. For further information, please contact Stephanie.Van.de.Voorde@vub.be or Rika.Devos@ulb.ac.be.
